Awesome Day On the Creek |
| We had 17 boats in the first event of the year. 10 out of 17
boats weighed in a limit. There were two fish weighed in over 5lb’s.
Congratulations to the first place team of Ken Franks and Bruce Young
with a weight of 12.62. Second place went to Fishing for Five pro staff
team Kyle Prskalo and Andy Ellenberger with a weight of 11.07. Third place
was Mike Martin with a weight of 10.33. Big bass award went to Kenneth Marrs and Jim Epler with a potato creek hog that weighed 5.49. I would also like to recognize the team of Jan Robinson and Kevin Bracken that weighed in another hog daddy at 5.26. Next tournament is 5-5-2012, 6:30am to 2:30pm (Chicago time). Division 8’s second event of the year
turned out to be just as good as the first one. 15 teams turned out
for this event, and 12 out of 15 teams weighed in a limit. First place
went to Denny Jones who weighed in 5 fish for 14.53. Included in that
bag was the heaviest fish ever weighed for Division 8; Denny’s
big bass weighed 6.99lbs! Nice job Denny!
Second place finish went to the team of Clint Marler and Steve Pierce. They weighed in five fish for 13.78, and was anchored with an awesome kicker fish that weighed 5.72, congratulations guys on a great bag of fish. Third place finish went to the team of Ken Marrs and Jim Epler with 12.79. Included in that bag was the second biggest fish of the day that weighed 5.78. I want to thank all of the teams that came out for this event. Our next tournament will be on 5-19-2012. This tournament will start earlier then the last two.
